Were you there?

I thought I saw you under that moonlight,
those footsteps running along with mine.
I think there was another shadow over that wet sand,
maybe you were walking behind.
I turned around cause I heard your voice,
in that rain which drenched me with joy.
I ran to the end of that shore
to get that glimpse of you
my eyes were waiting for.
oh! No one is really there,
I sank right away in despair.
I shut my eyes really tight,
and dint let that thought lose my mind.
I felt you again,
touching me with that breeze.
Your tender fingers running through my hair,
your breath on my neck.
Your lips teasing my cheek and your scent
taking over me.
I gasped and opened my eyes.
I saw you there, with me.
lying down silent and in peace.
Your lips slightly apart,
your breath so deep.
Your fingers clutched in mine,
while you were in deep sleep.
